IInteract 5160 District Council (DC) is an organization of high school students across Northern California, united region-wide who provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build understanding, goodwill and peace in the world.
District Council:
Organizes 4+ district-wide events, in addition to smaller localized fundraisers/events
Support local Interact Clubs within District 5160
Raises awareness and funds for global and local issues and organizations.
Members of the District Council are Interactors (high school-aged students associated with a local Interact Club or Rotary Youth Program).

About: Jayden White
Meet Jayden White a senior at Salesian College Preparatory High School. This year on District Council, he will serve as one of the District Governers with Aahana! He’s so excited to bring more inclusivity and engagement this year with the many upcoming events. Some of the things he enjoys during his freetime are trying new foods, plays sports recreationally, and spending time with family and friends.

Maya Goodlin is a senior. She has a strong commitment to leadership and community service. She has been an active member in Interact since her freshman year. She currently serves as the District Delegate for Areas 1-3. At her school she is the ASB president and a member of the basketball team!

Maelynn Chen is a senior at Hercules High School. She has been in Interact since her freshman year. She enjoys scrap-booking and binge-watching TV shows. As a district council member, she hopes to expand the influence of Interact!

She has previously been apart of District Council where she served as District Delegate for Areas 8-10. Outside of Interact she loves to hang out with friends, go to the beach, bake, play sports, and go to concerts. She is super excited for a great year of service with District Council.

Katelyn Huynh is a senior at Miramonte High School. She served as the President of Miramonte Interact last school year and will continue to do so this upcoming year. About: Advika Richhariya
Advika is a junior at California High School. She enjoys volunteering, running, baking, and reading in her free time. Although it’s her first year on District Council, she’s been an active member of her school’s Interact club since her freshman year. Where she serves as Communications Vice President. She’s excited for a great year of service with everyone!
About: Ava Barton
Ava Barton is a senior at Miramonte High School. During her free time she loves to make pots and cups in the pottery studio and go to the gym. During her sophomore and junior year she joined Interact and went to as many events as possible and grew a love for the club. She is excited to get started this year!
About: Rubina Pathan
Rubina is a junior at California High School. This is her third year being involved in Interact. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and volunteering in her community. Rubina is excited to serve on District Council and looks forward to making a positive impact!
About: Anjali Gowreea
Anjali Gowreea is a 10th grader at Monte Vista High School. She has been a member of Interact for two years and has been able to attend many events. She enjoys listening to music, traveling, and playing tennis in her free time!
About: Kylie Luong
Kylie Luong is a 10th grader at California High School. During her freshman year she accumulated over 40 hours of service and was appointed fundraising coordinator for the 25-26 school year. She loves the opportunities and the convenience Interact offers in such a unique, wide variety of fields. As well as the ability to allow students to explore their interests. She has centered her passions around community service, searching for solutions, and getting to understand perspectives; overall striving to embrace the challenges. Kylie loves tennis, RnB music, traveling, her family and friends, shopping, and running.

Vivian is a junior at California High school. She has been passionately volunteering for Interact since her freshman year. Outside of school she loves to draw, dance, and of course volunteer!
About: Jessie Cazarez
Jessie is a senior at Pinole Valley High School. Throughout her time in school she gained valuable experiences through Interact. She is the Vice-President of her Interact club, but also Treasurer of her school’s science club, and Vice-President of her writing club. Outside of Interact Jessie enjoys arts and crafts, going to concerts, and watching movies. She’s excited to create long-lasting memories this upcoming year!

Proud to be a Rotarian since 1992 in three different clubs and active with youth and international projects! My club is now Concord Rotary and we meet at noon on Fridays. I love working with Interactors in District 5160!
