Area Updates

August

Campolindo High School’s Interact Club so far has had one meeting. They’re currently discussing¬†recruitment, in addition to planning out the year. Some of the event they have on the calendar already include: volunteering at a local soup kitchen, in addition to sending members to district events.

 

College Park High School’s Interact Club has been putting a lot of time aside to make sure this year runs smoothly. Their school’s club day is not until September, but they’re already populating their agenda.

 

The Walnut Creek Interact Youth Council is busy recruiting new members into their community-based Interact Club. Their first meeting is coming soon.

 

Acalanes High School’s Interact Club is still mapping out their plans for this year. Their club is still pending approval by their school’s leadership.

 

Northgate High School’s Interact Club is in the process of establishing a relations with the Rotary Club of Walnut Creek.

 

Clayton Valley Charter High School’s Interact Club has had a small meeting for last year’s members, and will soon be having its larger, introductory meeting for potential new members. Wish them luck at finding the best Interactors!

 

September/October

Ygnacio Valley High School’s Interact Club planted a tree in memory of a deceased teacher on Labor Day weekend and repainted a mural at Woodside Elementary.

 

Carondelet High School’s Interact Club got 100 sign ups at their club fair and represented it at the club open house. Additionally, they have a lot of interested in the Warriors End Polio Night.

 

Clayton Valley Charter High School’s Interact Club worked to sell tickets for the Warriors End Polio Night.

 

College Park High School’s Interact Club volunteered at All in Need’s Trunk or Treat Event and the Pleasant Hill Rodger’s Ranch fair for their sponsor Rotary Club.

 

Campolindo High School’s Interact Club volunteered at a charity animal shelter event.

 

November

Clayton Valley Charter High School’s Interact Club planned a movie fundraiser night and a toy/clothes drive.

 

Carondelet High School’s Interact Club performed a diaper drive for the Monument Crisis Center, volunteered at an elderly home in Walnut Creek/Alamo, and raised money to sponsor Interactors to attend upcoming district events.

 

College Park High School’s Interact Club helped prepare a Christmas event for children with special needs and volunteered at the city’s Light up the Night event.

 

December

Acalalanes High School’s Interact Club hosted a school supplies drive and participated in the Rotary speech contest.

 

Ygnacio Valley High School’s Interact Club held a winter clothes drive where they collected 1000+ items, donated to INCA behavior health.

 

Carondelet High School’s Interact Club wrapped presents for the Cambridge Child Development Center.
